Participants will explore the capabilities of the N-Atlas model, developing innovative products and experiences that demonstrate how local AI can transform industries and empower communities.
From education, fintech, and media to healthcare, communication, and enterprise tools, this challenge is your platform to prove what’s possible with African-trained AI.
“Building Real-World African AI Use Cases.” Your project should highlight how N-Atlas can solve a meaningful problem, improve efficiency, or unlock new opportunities for businesses or everyday users. We’re looking for real, enterprise-ready or community-impact solutions.
🏆 A total of ₦1,000,000 is up for grabs for the most innovative and impactful projects built using the N-Atlas model.
Here’s how the prizes are distributed:
🥇 1st Place - ₦500,000
🥈 2nd Place - ₦300,000
🥉 3rd Place - ₦200,000
Together, these rewards celebrate the builders shaping Africa’s AI future. Top 3 participants will also receive public recognition through our ecosystem and media channels.
Submission Window (Nov 14-21): Submit your project idea and proposal.
Submission Evaluation and Confirmation (Nov 22-26): Awarri team reviews submissions, confirms eligibility, and sends accepted participants official access and next steps.
Building Phase (Nov 27 - Dec 12): Develop your prototype using the N-Atlas model.
Judging & Demos (Dec 13-17): Evaluation by the Awarri and partner judges.
Winner Announcement (Dec 18): Top projects revealed + prize awarded.

Open to individuals or teams (max 4 members).
Must use the N-Atlas model as a core part of your project. (Access the N-Atlas model via Hugging Face)
Projects will be evaluated based on:
Technical Compliance – Proper integration and use of N-Atlas.
Innovation & Use Case Relevance – Real-world value and creativity.
Clarity & Engagement – How clearly your idea is communicated and demonstrated.
Code Quality & Originality – Technical execution and uniqueness.
Market Potential – Scalability and commercial viability.
